		<description>What a neat post.  I was listening to some of the Jazz Loft video on the radio a few weeks ago (long story) and I heard how the minor folks did produce some of the best stories.  You are right, biopics sometimes work, and sometimes don&#039;t.  Like any other kind of movie.</description>

		<description>Nice points. I do think the Biopic suffers sometimes (particularly the biopic of someone who wa lives recently) from the question of whether the person is being acted out or imitated. I wasn&#039;t a big fan of Ray (yes, I know I&#039;m in the minority) because I thought it was just one long imitation (there were othe reasons, but that was the main one). ANYWAY, you&#039;re right the insignificant remnants of the past can tell us a lot.</description>
